Gala Evening in an Exceptional Setting

A special event deserves a unique setting!
We are delighted to have found the perfect location for a memorable evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. Football and racing pigeons – few things belong more to the culture and tradition of the Ruhr region than these two aspects! For that reason, we chose to bring these themes together and create a comprehensive experience for visitors of the 39th International Racing Pigeon Exhibition 2026.

Tradition meets modernity – this is the motto of the urban museum, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in October 2025. After the successful home World Cup in 2006, the DFB finalized its plans to create a museum and make the long-standing football tradition tangible. The Ruhr area was selected as the site, and nine years later, the football museum opened in October 2015, quickly becoming a major attraction!

Now our guests attending the gala evening can explore this exclusive location and immerse themselves in the fascination of the exhibits – a guaranteed experience that evokes goosebumps! From memories of past World Cup titles and personal emotions tied to victories or heartbreaks, to displays honoring women’s football, the Bundesliga, the DFB Cup, and international competitions, there’s something here for everyone to discover and learn.

Our gala evening including the award ceremony for the winners of the Sport and Standard classes will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the German Football Museum. The doors open at 6:00 PM, and the gala begins at 7:30 PM. A buffet and standard beverages such as water, soft drinks, wine, and beer are included in the ticket price! Admission to the gala evening is €150, and tickets are available through our ticket shop.
