Certificate for submission to the responsible veterinary authority
Unfortunately, even this year, we cannot waive the requirement for confirmation from the local veterinary authorities that all pigeons being brought to Dortmund come from an area free of avian influenza and Newcastle disease.
You can easily obtain this certificate in advance by calling your responsible veterinary office and picking it up so that the pigeons can be brought to Dortmund. You are welcome to use the confirmation letter that has been coordinated with the Dortmund official veterinarian, Dr. Wurm.
If you have any questions or problems as a breeder, please feel free to contact the event office or the pigeon clinic at any time, and we will work together to find a solution that allows you to participate in the exhibition. We kindly ask for your understanding that, from the perspective of the Dortmund veterinary office, this is the only way to hold the International Racing Pigeon Fair with live pigeons.
